C'Mon Man! My Kind of Judge

I think this might be my first C’Mon Man post where I’m actually doling out praise for a particular person rather than pointing out the typical absurdity or “dumbassness” displayed by individuals or businesses from time to time. However, there are so many things about the decision handed down by a Cleveland municipal judge that he or she deserves a congratulatory C’Mon Man! A 32-year old lady was arrested after being caught on camera driving on a sidewalk to pass a school bus that was unloading children. Apparently this wasn’t the first time she had done this according to several parents and she also seemed to find the whole thing amusing as she laughed frequently during the court appearances. The local municipal judge didn’t think it was near as funny, but the unique punishment he handed down not only took into account the potential waste of taxpayer dollars and the overcrowding status of local jails but also the need to send a message to this person and others who might think this behavior is acceptable. In addition to a suspended license for 30 days and $250 in court costs, the judge ordered her to stand at a busy intersection in downtown Cleveland holding the following sign:
