What other professions have you tried?
I managed a crew for a demolition company, and I was a Nanny for 4 years, the little girl is 13 however, I have been in Sales most of my career; from high quality cutlery, cars, billboards, cable, broadcast media and on and on and on.
Why did you choose insurance as your profession?
I want to make a mark in The Medicare Industry. I want to give Medicare a new face for people and make it easier to understand.
Why did you choose Henriott?
God! I feel like it was “divine intervention”. The circumstances kept checking all my boxes. The right place at the right time, and it fits, it felt good, it answered my prayers. First with Bob! He was the starting point. He was the perfect blend of integrity, humility, success and abundance in one bundle. What Henriott was looking for matched what I was looking for. Then Kelley, who shared the expectations the company has of me while giving me the space to be myself because she was authentically herself , which is rare. Then Maria, who is genuine and polished with the formula that doesn’t fail, where I get to learn and train and follow to get me to my goals that will ultimately reach the goals, they have for me. The plans/path they have for me align with the vision I have for myself.
Hometown/Where do you reside? I am originally from Cleveland, Ohio. I reside in Indianapolis.
What is your biggest pet peeve? Soggy Bread.
What was your all-time best Halloween costume? A Nurse. I had everything. The stethoscope, thermometer, white uniform, stocking, hat etc. It was so original that people kept asking me if I just got off work!
If you could splurge on one must-have item, what would it be? A KitchenAid/Bosch Counter depth stainless steel refrigerator with Ice maker and inside water dispenser or a Condo in Negril/Spain/Panama.
If you could go back to any era, what would it be? 90’s. Music was phenomenal, fashion was alright, and I would do a few things differently.
Which superpower do you wish you had? Inspiration Instigator. I would strike people with my magic wand and flood them with inspiration to be do or have anything they want.
If you could close your eyes and be anywhere on earth when they opened, where would you be? Heaven with my ancestors, checking in and following up on some questions and answers and guidelines and information and one more smile, dance, kiss touch look. On Earth, in my own manufacturing company with a whole lot of money, a good team and I would be inventing.
What is your favorite TV/Movie? The Color Purple, Somethings Gotta give, Just Wright, Meet Joe Black, Equalizer 1,2 and 3. Jerry Maguire
What is your favorite childhood meal? Pork chop, mashed potatoes and peas, grape Kool-Aid with sliced lemons.
Do you volunteer anywhere? If so, where and why? Yes, Hope for Tomorrow where we provide clothing and accessories for the needy and unhoused. Downtown Indianapolis and I love it. I remember the people and they remember me. I love to help and learn what makes people do what they do.
What was your best vacation? I went to Negril Jamaica in 2005 and it was the best vacation yet!!!
